Here are some puppies that are home enjoying the love of their families. It's so much fun to see them blossom in the joy and belonging of their new lives. These families sent us some pictures of our pups grown (or growing) up. We would love to share pictures of our babies in their new homes if you would like to send them in for others to enjoy.

Katie

Thank you so much for getting back to me so soon. I must have really good luck when asking for a litter from you. I have attached some pictures of Holly. We had taken her to Lake Havasu. Thats my daughter with her in one of the pictures. She has been the greatest gift we could have ever gotten.
She is the most well behaved dog we have ever had. She is a quick learner and is so loveable. We would love to get another one.

Thank you,

Cheryl

Hi there Katie and Josh!

I bought one of your puppies (Hayden) from you in February.  He was born on December 17, 2006.  We have renamed him Ziggy and he is the BEST dog ever!  We have totally fell in love with him and he has become a precious member of our family!  Everywhere we go with him people stop me and ask me about him.  I have given out your website and have highly recommended your kennel for your sweet, well behaved puppies!  He was easy to train and now sleeps in our bed, which I thought I would NEVER do!  I just wanted to thank you for providing me with such a wonderful pet.  If I ever want to get another puppy, I will definitely get one from Legacy Farms!

Sincerely,

Suzanne and Ziggy

Hi Katie and Josh - hope you're doing well and enjoying the holidays!!

We had a great time with McKenzie, and I thought I'd share a couple pictures.  I never pegged myself as someone who would dress up their dog, but we couldn't resist buying her a Christmas dress.  Attached are some pictures of her opening her presents, and one of her with my younger sister.

She's doing great.  She's almost fully house trained, and is now learning to sit and lie down.  She's a very smart dog, and is friendly with everyone!!  My favorite thing about her is that she loves to cuddle... either in my lap or at my feet...she's so cute!!

Thanks again!!

Our family just brought home Lily, a female Malti-Poo we purchased from Legacy Farms Kennel. Initially I had some concerns about purchasing a puppy through a website, but after speaking with Katie of Legacy Farms Kennel and sending several emails with tons of questions, she put my mind at ease. Throughout the process she was always available to answer questions (and there were many) either by phone or email and she was wonderful about sending me updated photos of Lily as she grew. Lily arrived last night in a plastic crate with plenty of food and water to get her through the flight and the first few days in her new home. She is a beautiful, cream/coffee colored puppy with the sweetest personality. When I got her home, she came out of her crate ready to play, she was obviously well socialized at Legacy Farms Kennel. She was not shy or timid, and loved poking around her new home. Our family couldn’t be happier, she is everything we could of hoped for and we would highly recommend Legacy Farms Kennel to anyone seeking a new puppy!

Just took some pictures of Howie for our Christmas cards and thought that you may like to see one of your puppy's at 3 months!  He is a great little dog and we have had so much fun with him!  Very smart....was potty trained after 4 weeks with us and has developed a very funny little personality.  He loves the snow! I have been sick twice since we got him and he is so intuitive....he just snuggles quietly with me all day.  He has been great with small children and keeps up just fine with his bigger cousins, Max and Buddi :)

Happy Holidays and God Bless!

Hi! well I decided to give you some heads up on peanut lately! I have been
receiving e-mails about how you guys are and if they should buy puppies from
your kennel. And of course I've been writing good reviews! Well, peanut has had all his shots now and he is very healthy! He's gotten bigger and is such a blast to have at home! He's learned how to sit, stay, down, roll over, shake hands and give high fives! He learns very quickly! Most of these tricks he's learned in a day or two! And he likes to sleep and cuddle up on the feet of anyone who's still sleeping at home. Recently, we've had about 6 inches of snow this last week and he witnessed his very first snow! That was a sight to see! At first he was scared and didn't know what to do... but after a while, he looked like a little brown bunny as he hopped along the snow. Now, all he would do is dig his face in the snow and eat it!

Hi Katie,

We love our pug puppy! We have named him Cozmo. He's so fun. We love him so so much. He has brought a lot of extra happiness into our home! When he was last weighed, he was 4 lbs. 6 oz. and I know that he's grown since then. He's doing awesome at being house trained. He's so awesome! If we ever get him anything, he loves it. He loves chasing golf balls and chewing my old running shoe. His favorite toy, however, is still his little stuffed kitty we've had to re-sew about 5 times now!

Next picture is Cozmo fast asleep. He loves to sleep on his back like this, on his side, or in anyone's lap. He's so sweet and hilarious.

Danielle (and Cozmo)

Josh and Katie,

I have been meaning to email you for a while but with the holiday things have been crazy around here.  Mason who is now named Brady is so great.  We have 3 steps on our porch to go outside, he was leery of them at first and we carried him in and out but now is going up and down them like a pro.  He is doing good with potty training and on occasion will go to the door on his own but he will only get better.  He got bags of toys from everyone in the family for Christmas, they are all over the house and he is thrilled. He carries them from room to room as he follows us.  He is going to start puppy classes in about 2 weeks so we are excited about that. We took him with us to our parents house on Christmas eve and not only did he get soooooo much love he was actually such a good boy, when he wasn't being held he just played with toys.  Anyway, he is doing well and we adore him.  I have sent several people to your site as we couldn't be more pleased.  I will forward another update and some pictures soon...

Wanted to send you a Mason update as well as a few pictures. He is doing well, very spoiled but loving every minute.  He had his next set of shots a little over a week ago and didn't even whine.  The vet loves him and he gets treats every time he goes.  He is starting puppy classes tomorrow night so we are excited about that.  I hope you like these pictures.  Some are right after he got here and some were just a few days ago.

Just wanted to let you know that Jack (his new name is Barry--named after Tropical Storm Barry from our wedding) is doing very well.  Here is a photo of him from Halloween.  We are definitely talking about buying Barry a little brother or sister in May.  Hope all is well.

Tim and Kelly

Here's some of the older photos of "Isabella" we call her Isabelle. She's 8 lbs and finished her first 8 weeks of puppy kindergarten, now she's starting intermediate classes. She's spunky & adorable and everyone loves her.

We're extremely happy with her.

Thanks,
Toni & Brandan

Hello Josh and Katie,

I hope you remember me, I received Charlie about 5 months ago and would like to let you know how he's doing. Well his name is Pookie now, we call him Pook for short and he is the best puppy in the world. I couldn't be more satisfied with the way things turned out. He is so beautiful and loving. I want to thank you so much for all your help in letting myself purchase him from you. We take lots of pictures and videos of him playing. He is so precious. Also he tends to smile ALOT!!! I've never seen a dog smile so much. The first time I took him to the vet, they asked me where I purchased him from. They proceeded to tell me that Pookie was one of the healthiest puppies they had ever seen and they told me that you did a fantastic job taking care of him. I recommend Legacy Farms to everyone I know. I would like you to know that he is in good hands with a family that loves him dearly. Of course I wouldn't have my little Pookie if it wasn't for you. You were always there to answer any questions I had. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. We are also hoping to purchase another puppy from you in the near future. Until then here are some pictures of my precious Pookie.

Best Regards,

Priscilla and Pookie

Hi Katie,

Happy New Year!! I hope you had a wonderful holiday.

Attached is are some recent pictures of Curlee (Honey) He is growing so fast. He can sit, shake, lay down and uses the doggy door for potty training. He walks on his leash well also. Everyone falls in love with him when they see him.

Best Wishes
Diane, Ron and Curlee

This is to update you on Hayden (now named "Cesar").

As of 03/19/08 Cesar has received all his vaccinations including the rabies shot. His next visit to the vet is scheduled fof late June when he will be neutered.

Attached are some photos taken recently at my son's home showing me, my two grandchildren
and of course Cesar.

Cesar now weighs 6 pounds which is a gain of 2 pounds since 03/05/08.

Cesar is very playful and gets excited when meeting anyone. He also likes to play with my son's four year old female chihuahua mix who is attempting to teach Cesar how to behave with other dogs.

Cesar has become my constant companion and he loves his car rides around town, especially to Petco.

My granddaughter Olivia absolutely adores Cesar. She calls him little "C".

Overall obtaining Cesar the cockapoo has been fun, exciting, challenging, and very rewarding for my wife and I.

Thank you Katie for doing a terrific job in raising Cesar during his first nine weeks at your kennel.

Hi Katie,

Sorry we haven't written in almost a week!  We renamed Bear and it's Elvis Presley now!  He's so cute Katie, just like you said, and very very smart!!!  Everyone just loves him, he loves everyone!!  The first night we picked him up, his connecting flight was delayed by 3 hours and we didn't get him until 9pm!!!  I saw that he left early in the morning and thought I'd find a tired, hungry sickly little pup inside the crate, but he jumped out, bouncing around, and started licking everyone of us!!  He didn't even mess in his crate!  Anyway, we fed him and gave him water at the airport.  He is starting to get on a regular schedule of eating, playing, and going potty outside all the time.  He is very smart for a little pup!

Anyway, just wanted to let you know all is well, Elvis is GREAT, better than any little dog I could have hoped for and very healthy too!  You guys obviously did a great time by him before he came home!  I have a vet checked him out and have the receipt stating he is in good health.

He's such a good boy!  He made his first canine friend today, my friend's cockapoo who's 8 months old.  The two of them loved each other, were hopping around, playing like crazy and both whimpered when we had to leave!  Elvis is so friendly towards everyone, all my neighbors want one, including my mother!

Thank you again!

Jasmine

What a personality!  She is such a love, and you were right, she definitely can make her own fun.  She is really smart!  Potty training is an on going process, I just introduced treats.  After only two cookies, she promptly comes up the stairs (which is too cute to watch because she's so tiny) after doing potty.  She comes in the door, and quickly turns one circle and stares at you waiting for her reward.  Then I tried to get her to sit, after about two days she's got it!  I couldn't believe it.  The kids absolutely love her.  She gets so excited when she sees the kids after being gone all day.  The day after she arrived, when the kids got home from school and daycare, we heard her first bark.  It was a rusty tiny bark, like she was barking for the first time ever, it was too funny.  Now she goes out with me to meet the bus, and gets so excited her little body wags back and forth when she sees my son, until he gets to her and gives her some love.  I thank you so much for the addition to our family.  She has settled in quite well.  I can't wait until she plays in the snow for the first time this winter (not that I'm in any hurry though.)  She a hard little one to get a picture of, cause she's soooooo black!  Thanks again, and take care.

Holly

Hi Katie,

We absolutely love our Maltipoo! In December 2006, we bought our puppy(Teddy) from you. He was born on October 7, 2006.  His name is now Dallas.  With us just celebrating his 1st birthday, we thought it would be appropriate to check in with you and let you know how well he's doing and how special he is to our family. My husband and I have 4 small children, and Dallas has been such a gift to us all. I remember how nervous I was originally to purchase a puppy online, but you made it so easy and comfortable for us. I'll definitely be in touch because we're thinking about adding another puppy to our family. I've attached a picture of Dallas for you all to see. Take care.

Dear Katie & Josh,

I just want to thank you for our precious puppy, Hope. She is adapting very well and growing quite fast...

I just wanted you to see Hope at 8 months... she is just so precious and I enjoy every day with her. She seems to grow bigger every day.
thanks again

Connie and Hope

We just entered Hayden into our neighborhood "Prettiest Pooch" contest. He has been such a great addition. He thinks he's our third child.

Christy

(Hayden won 2nd place! Congratulations, Lil' One!)

Hi Katie,

I wanted to let you know that Logan is doing fantastic! We renamed him Hydro; he is such a pleasure and wins the heart of everyone who meets him. He is healthy and growing up fast! It was such a relief to know that I found a kennel that truly has the puppy’s best interest in mind. I have recommended legacy farms to others and when I move to a house with a bigger yard I am planning on adopting from you again! Thank you so much!

Katie,

Here's an updated picture of Gracie & Sophie.  I can't believe I've had them almost 7 months already.  I just think that it is so cute that they still have to touch when they are sleeping.  I cannot tell you what a joy they are and how much we love them. I'm sure by the picture you can tell they are spoiled. This is my new leather recliner and they seem to think I bought it for them.  Thank you again.

Lisa

Hi Katie,

My husband and I got a pug puppy from you in June. "Charlie" was shipped all the way to Alaska, where he has adjusted to life with a new "big sister" Sierra (a 7 year old lab mix) and has recently discovered the joys of snow. His name now is Duncan and he is the most wonderful puppy! I can't say enough to people how much we enjoy our pug baby. He makes us laugh out loud at LEAST once a day!

We went and had some pictures taken of the dogs and of us for our Christmas cards this year. I thought I'd send you a couple so you could see how BIG he's gotten. He came to us a little over 3 pounds and is now 16 pounds.

Thank you again for having such healthy, adorable puppies. We will definitely look to your kennel again if we decide to make our family bigger.

Enjoy the pictures, and have a great holiday!

Hi Katie,

This is Nina, Hayden's Mommy, we have just come back from his second appointment, he is doing well he weighs 3 lbs 30 ozs ... He is a very happy rambunctious little man.... The potty training is something he tries to run from LOL... I think he wants to only go out of doors I took him to the park and he didn't want to leave, he ran himself into sleeping for almost 6 hours off and on with only waking to eat drink and go potty.... Thank you so very much for my little Hayden he is a pure joy to my life , I love love love him.... Thank you for allowing me to adopt him...

Nina

I wanted to write to you to give you a heads up about someone who is interested in a black pug.  I looked on your site and you don’t have any at this time.  We had a great experience with you and are recommending them to contact you to see if you will have any soon or if you can recommend someone else they can contact.  These people travel a lot to Tennessee and might even be able to pick up.  They just lost their black pug and would like to get another one soon as a companion to their other brown one.  Thank you for your time and thank you for our wonderful angel.  We purchased Maggie in June and she has become such a wonderful addition to our family.  Her favorite time of the day is when we pick up our kids from elementary school.  She has become sort of a mascot to the kids and she loves every second of it. Have a great day! Please check out the attached photos,  these are not recent but very cute!

Judi

Hi Katie

I just want to tell you about this beautiful little girl Carly. Boy does she have personality. Everyone loves her. They listen so well I can't believe how quick they were trained. Compared to our Lab. Our other 2 cockapoos we adopted from homes when they were 2 & 5 so we didn't get to experience how quick & smart they were as puppies. Both boys always give into Carly. Even Dakota lets her eat his food while he is eating but growls at Jordie if he tries. The three of them run around the yard playing for hours. Even after we closed our pool with the cover on it little Carly kept going on the cover to play in the little bit of water on it, lucky she is so light. I just had to go in the house & she would jump out to follow me into the house. We finally have her trained not to do that.

Here's how close Carly & Jordie are:
She doesn't go down stairs to rec room & that is where Dakota always is. Jordie runs down to play with Coda & she stays at top of stairs & after awhile she will whine, Jordie instantly goes up to first step & lays with her.

Well now that I have written you a story I better sign off. Thanks sooooo much for little baby Carly, our little Princess.

Karen

Hi Katie and Josh!

I hope you are both doing well! I apologize for the delay in getting a full report to you guys—we have been two busy ladies over at our house!

Morgan (now Millie) arrived just fine in Richmond a little before noon on Friday.  She had a little accident in her PetTaxi on the plane, but we got her all cleaned up and she was cool as a cucumber on the ride home.  She also slept the WHOLE night through on Friday—until 7:30!  She has been awesome—a very laid-back little pup and such a cuddle bug.  She’s very curious and quite brave—very investigatory!  She’s already learned her name, “no” and “go potty”—such a smart pup!  She’s settled in nicely to her new home and her crate and bed, and became fast friends with my roommate’s Westie, Sadie.  They are just thick as thieves!

She’s also quite the little model and loves the camera—I’ve been able to take lots of still pictures of her (I’ve attached a couple for you guys!)

Thank you all so much for bringing this little joy in my life.  She is already a huge part of my heart and I am so proud to call her “mine.”

More updates to come as my little one gets bigger (which seems to be happening every day!)

Thank you!
Caroline
